St. Petersburg Wheelchair Tour Details:

Day 1

9 a.m. – meet your guide in the port terminal. You will be picked up by the ship side by a special wheelchair van with a lift.

The day starts with St. Petersburg wheelchair accessible sightseeing tour. You will see such famous landmarks as St. Isaac’s Square, Bronze Horseman, Rostral Columns, Peter and Paul Fortress, Field of Mars, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Summer Gardens and many others and visit St. Isaac’s and Church on Spilt Blood (official name is Resurrection Cathedral).

12:30-13:30 – lunch/snack in an accessible venue. We recommend to have it pre-arranged so that you don’t waste time ordering from a menu.

14:00-16:30 – after a lunch break you’ll continue a cultural St. Petersburg wheelchair tour and head for the world-famous Hermitage Museum. You’ll see the opulent halls of the Winter Palace and masterpieces of West European Art collections.

Optional: Impressionists and Postimpressionists collection is located in a separate building of General Staff across the Palace Square. You are welcome to add the General Staff building to your accessible tour itinerary.

The Hermitage has access ramps and lifts, however please note that it’s not 100% accessible: the lifts have a limited capacity. Please advise on your weight with a wheelchair and the weight of the wheelchair alone, so I could tell you it’s suitable or we’ll need to figure out how to get in (in case the wheelchair is too heavy)
